Derby Rowing Club is actively looking for corporate sponsors.
THE WHY?
Your sponsorship directly contributes to the growth and success of our club.
The club generates revenue through membership fees. This provides funds for the running of the club and to undertake maintenance activities but falls short of the revenue needed to reinvest in racing shells and other equipment.
Therefore, additional income is required to bring the current fleet up to standard and allow those members who race to remain competitive, whilst also providing suitable equipment for recreational rowers.
THE BENEFITS
The club attends a number of regional events as well as some national events, such as Henley Royal Regatta and the Head of the River Race. These events provide large audiences which have the potential to generate increased brand exposure for sponsors.
The following sponsorship opportunities are available:
Supporting Junior Beginner Rowing.
Value: up to £3,500
This funding would support the full purchase of a beginner junior single scull (£3,500).
The sponsor would have full naming rights and colour pick for the new boat and would be thanked with a naming ceremony, an article on our website and logos on our club trailer that travels around the country.
This boat would be used to introduce new juniors (under 18) to the sport and into the club.
Performance Squad Kit Sponsor.
Value: £1,000
This funding would purchase 50x racing tech tops for our male and female performance squads. The racing top would be designed to your specification and would include a logo of the sponsors preference and the Derby Rowing Club logo. All performance athletes would be required to wear this kit for racing at all high-level events around the country for the 24/25 season.

Performance Squad Boat Sponsor.
Value: from £9,000 - £25,000
This funding would support the full purchase of a boat for use by the Derby Rowing Club Performance Squad. The boat type would depend on the value of the sponsorship;
£9,000 - standard double scull/pair (2 persons)
£12,000 - top specification double scull/pair (2 persons)
£18,000 - standard four/quad (4 persons)
£25,000 - top specification four/quad (4 persons)
The sponsor would have full naming rights and colour pick for the new boat and would be thanked with a naming ceremony, an article on our website and logos on our club trailer that travels around the country.
The boat will be used by our performance squad as they represent the city of Derby at national and international events.
